Pobuda Scholarship Fantasy Football league has 3 weeks to go...
The fantasy football league to benefit the Pobuda Scholarship has entered the playoffs for 2023/24. The top 8 teams of the 16 entered earned a playoff berth and the quarterfinal matchups this weekend are:
D Loves the Dude (Jim Gilmore) vs Locos Rotarians (Defending Champion John Hughes)
Wild hogs (Tom Archer) vs the Bone crushers (Jim Watters)
TKO (Barb Striz) vs BW duo (Lori Belcher & Jeff)
Gilly’s gridiron (Connie Conklin) vs Tackling Fuel (Dan Bain)
Two of the playoff teams, Tacklin Fuel and Bone crushers made no moves for the entire season, which is quite embarrassing to the other 14 teams who thought they knew what they were doing.
The Semi finals will be the weekend of December 22nd, with the champion being crowned the weekend of December 29.
The trophy and prize money will be awarded at a January Rotary meeting.
