Livingston County Rotary Cup 2018
GOLFERS NEEDED. The Cup was established back in 1994, originally a competition between the Howell and the Brighton Rotary Clubs. Livingston Sunrise Rotary began playing in 2005 and in 2008 it was converted to a countywide Rotary Club competition. Since we currently hold the cup, it’s our responsibility to determine the time and venue for this year‘s competition. This year‘s competition will be held at the Golf Club at Mt Brighton on Friday, September 21. We will have a shotgun start beginning at Noon. The Golf Club at Mt Brighton is charging us $25 per person for golf, cart and a warm up bucket of balls. They are generous in doing this so that we can charge an extra amount to present the winning club for a project of their choice. We play two-person scramble with the five best scores from each club determining the final team score. We do include handicaps. Last year we retained the Cup by a single stroke over Brighton (341.5 to 342.5). SIGN UP at the meeting on Friday, or contact Jim Gilmore for more information.
